Terms of Use

What TRASTA CARE is

TRASTA CARE is a marketplace that helps families find independent caregivers, and helps caregivers find work. We are not a care agency. We do not employ caregivers, do not supervise care, and are not a party to the agreement between a family and a caregiver. The agreement is between those two people.

Who can use the app

You must be 18 or older and located in the United States. The app is not intended for children.

Your account

You sign in with your Apple Account. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the accuracy of what you publish about yourself. You can delete your account at any time in Settings; deletion is permanent.

Licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use TRASTA CARE on Apple devices you own or control, for your own use. You may not resell access, rent it out, copy the app, or try to take it apart, decompile it or derive its source code, except where the law says you may. This licence ends when you stop using the app or when your account is closed. Use through the App Store is also covered by Apple's standard licence terms: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

We do not run background checks

TRASTA CARE does not verify identity, does not check criminal records, does not confirm certificates, and does not check references. Everything shown in a profile was provided by that person. Decide for yourself: meet before hiring, ask for documents, check references, and trust your judgement. Care happens in your home and outside our control.

Payment for care

Families pay caregivers directly. TRASTA CARE takes no commission from care, does not process these payments, and does not hold anyone's money. Rates, hours and terms are agreed between the family and the caregiver. Taxes and worker classification are their own responsibility. Any earnings figure shown in the app is an estimate calculated from the agreed schedule, not a confirmed payment.

Caregiver subscription

Caregivers can respond to a limited number of jobs for free — five at the time of writing. To respond without limits, a caregiver can buy an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store. The price and any free trial are shown before you confirm the purchase. Everything else in the app — creating a profile, searching, messaging after a response, reviews, and the whole client side — stays free.

How auto-renewal works

Your Apple Account is charged at the price shown when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions — cancelling is done with Apple, not in this app. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy the subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple.

How to behave here

Write truthfully about yourself. Do not publish someone else's data without their consent. Do not harass, threaten or discriminate. Do not use the app to arrange anything illegal. We may block an account that breaks these rules.

What you publish

You keep what is yours, and you are responsible for it: your profile, your requests, your messages, your photos and your reviews. When a request describes another person — a parent, a child — you are the one who decides what may be said about them. We store and show this content so the app can work, and we may hide or remove content that breaks these rules or the law.

Emergencies

This app is not an emergency service and cannot summon help. In an emergency call 911.

Limits of our responsibility

The app is provided as is. We do not guarantee that you will find a caregiver or a job, that a profile is accurate, or that care will be performed well. The app may change, and support for older versions of iOS ends over time. To the extent the law allows, TRASTA CARE is not liable for what happens between a family and a caregiver, including anything that happens during care, and is not liable for lost income, lost data or missed arrangements.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
